Taking care of the environment

Taking care of the environment is everyone's duty, but we are convinced that businesses are uniquely responsible for protecting the environment. Therefore, environmentally friendly production standards and active participation in a variety of green initiatives play an important role in Alcea's operations.

That's how we take care of the environment:

In our Alcea office we have stopped using disposable tableware, use only eco-friendly chemicals, collect batteries and caps for recycling.
All the enterprises that produce our products comply with industrial safety and environmental standards.
We actively engage in corporate volunteering. For example, in May 2024, our employees planted 4,000 pine seedlings in the Orekhovo-Zuyevsky urban district of the Moscow region on a 1 hectare of land affected by the bark beetle - the planting was organized jointly with the interregional public environmental organization "EKA" and the forest restoration service "Posadi les".

If we manage to restore even a small section of the forest, it will still be a huge contribution. And, importantly, we are happy to do it.

My colleagues and I initiated the Rose of Health project, which covers all the social and environmental initiatives at Alcea. One of them is the planting of forests. Our contribution in this area may be small so far, but it is part of a big and important story.
